What is Walmart Item Spec 4.0?
Walmart Item Spec 4.0 is an updated version of the API designed to make product setup and maintenance easier for anyone who sells items on Walmart.com. The new API included more than 250 new and optimized attribute names, accompanied by extended data definitions, more specific closed list values, and better organization of attributes. Third-party API-based apps such as M2E Pro were due to move to the new Item Spec iteration by October 1, 2022. As always, we did our best to stay in line with the latest e-commerce updates and completed the migration to Item Spec 4.0 within the deadline.

What should Magento Walmart integration sellers do in M2E Pro?
Walmart Item Spec 4.0 is live on M2E Pro! However, there are a few things you can do to ensure a seamless sync between your Magento and Walmart.
1. Update your marketplaces
Go to Walmart integration > Configuration > Marketplaces and hit Update All.
2. Create new Category Policies
Go to Walmart integration > Configuration > Policies > Add Policy and select Category Policy.
3. Assign new Category Policies to your items
In your M2E Pro Listing, switch the Settings View Mode, tick products, and select Use Another Category Policy in the ‘Actions’ drop-down.
